Sources and Accuracy

This is not a "hard core" research genealogy site. It is a place for me to tell stories about my family. As such, I may not always cite references or sources in the articles. This does not mean that I do not care about accuracy. Information presented is carefully researched and is available upon request.

I currently have a data base that contains over 3,000 documents. Many of these are public records, such as census pages and other vital records. I also have family stories, biographies and materials gleaned from other websites. The quality of this information varies significantly but my goal is to be as accurate as possible with the information available.

Even with careful investigation, the accuracy of the information presented cannot be 100% guaranteed. There are always areas of genealogy research that are incomplete and sometimes assumptions have been made that are later found out to be in error. As new information is uncovered, it will be presented and outdated information will be removed.
